Motherwell’s Kerry Montgomery got on the scoresheet as Northern Ireland opened their Alanya Gold City Women’s Cup campaign with a win.
The midfielder was on target in a 6-0 victory over Jordan, as the side take part in the tournament to prepare for their UEFA Women’s Euro 2021 qualifying campaign starting in August.
Montgomery’s side will play four games in seven days at the competition in Turkey. Next up are France B on Friday, before further matches with Kazakhstan and a final fixture determined by group placings.
