‘Well boss Stuart McCall hopes his side can take some of Saturday’s form into tomorrow night’s game with Hearts at Tynecastle.
The Fir Parkers returned to their brilliant best at the weekend, sweeping St Johnstone aside with a fine 5-1 victory.
That result, coupled with tomorrow’s opponents holding Dundee United to a point at Tannadice, has meant the Steelmen have a five point cushion over their nearest rivals although McCall is taking nothing for granted.
“Absolutely no-one from this football club is thinking we have anything secured or tied up,” he said.
“We have two very difficult away games starting at Tynecastle tomorrow night. They played every so well against Dundee United on Saturday so we are well aware of what to expect.
“It’s always a tough place to go but on the back of our victory on Saturday, not only result but the manner of the victory and some of the individual performances with some people back to form, then we will go there full of confidence and looking to take something.”
