Tom Sparrow was the second new addition of the 2024/25 squad, signing on an initial two-year deal having left Stoke City in the summer.
Having came through the ranks with Wolves, he moved to Stoke at the age of 14 and moved through the age groups at a rapid pace. Having been handed his first-team debut in 2022, Sparrow went on loan to Hamilton Accies, Chester and Telford United, gaining valuable minutes and experience in the process.
Joining permanently in the summer of 2024, Sparrow is now looking to nail down a starting position at the heart of the midfield.
After a strong start to life in the claret and amber, Sparrow extended his deal at Fir Park until the summer of 2027, impressing manager Michael Wimmer as both a wing-back and a centre-midfielder. The 22-year-old scored the winner at Ibrox in March 2025, securing the Steelmen’s first back-to-back wins in Govan since 1961.
