A late arrival, striker Moses Ebiye arrived as free agent in March 2024. Having played all his professional career in Norway, the 26-year-old made the switch having departed Aalesund in the January. 

Pace, strength and an eye for goal, Ebiye quickly established himself as a cult-hero amongst the Motherwell fans by completing a three-goal comeback against Dundee, scoring the winner on his debut. From there, Ebiye became known for scoring goals late on. Scoring in stoppage time against Dundee, St Johnstone at Fir Park, St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park and Aberdeen, Ebiye also won the penalty that sent Motherwell to the semi-final of the cup in 90+ minutes.
