A Hungarian Under 21 international, Krisztián Hegyi was first spotted when playing with Szombathelyi Haladás in his homeland. Impressing from the off, many high profile clubs were looking to secure his signature. He eventually moved to Premier League side West Ham United in 2019.
Establishing himself as first-choice for their under 23 side, and also being named captain, he went out on loan to Stevenage for the first half of the 2023/24 season, before moving to Dutch second tier side FC Den Bosch, where he featured 17 times.
Earning his first senior call-up in 2023, the 21-year-old shot stopper is fulfilling his potential as he looks for regular first-team minutes to keep his career moving in an upward trajectory.
