Motherwell play host to Rangers at Fir Park on Sunday lunchtime.
Here’s the match previewed. Kick off is at 12.30pm.
What’s at stake
Motherwell are playing for seventh spot, having been denied a top six finish following defeat at Aberdeen in midweek.
Rangers meanwhile will be looking to grab a win to prolong the wait for Celtic’s inevitable title success, although the league leaders can’t clinch the trophy as a consequence of any result at Fir Park.
The form guide
Motherwell have won seven of their last 11 games, drawing one and losing three.
The Steelmen are chasing the prospect of equalling a run of six consecutive home league wins, a feat which hasn’t been managed since 1975/76.
Rangers, meanwhile, have won four in the same time period, drawing five and losing two.
Team news
Trevor Carson, Craig Tanner, Ross McCormack and Christian Mbulu remain sidelined. Carl McHugh is a doubt with a neck injury.
Mark Gillespie will be given every opportunity to recover from a dead leg sustained in the midweek match at Aberdeen, but is a doubt for the game.
