We also deeply concerned for the welfare of all players ahead of this match, despite the referee assuring that he is happy that this won’t be an issue.

Stephen O’Donnell named March Player of the month
Thursday 04 April 2024Stephen O’Donnell is your G4 claims player of the month for March.
Arriving in August 2020, this is the first time the Scotland internationalist has won the award.
A crucial part of the backline in our historic win at Ibrox at the start of the month, he produced a fine display as well as a strong work rate.
He set up Theo Bair for his goal against St Mirren, with a composed and cushioned header back across goal from Jack Vale’s cross.
Available for every match this season, O’Donnell’s professional approach and attitude has seen him deployed in numerous areas of the pitch. Empty the tank in every match this month, alongside an assist, has seen him named your March player of the month.

Update on Dens Park
Thursday 04 April 2024Dundee have held a precautionary pitch inspection at Dens Park this afternoon and at present time, the pitch has passed that inspection.
Rain covers are now going on the pitch to try and limit water onto the playing surface. It is likely the covers will stay down on the pitch until Saturday morning.
Depending on the weather, we expect a further pitch inspection to be arranged on Saturday morning.
Updates will be communicated to supporters as soon as we receive them from Dundee.

Stuart Kettlewell previews Dundee
Thursday 04 April 2024Stuart Kettlewell is encouraged by the recent news of investment talks reaching the next stage, but insists that it has not altered any plans as yet for his playing budget. Kettlewell has also undertaken his first discussions with new Chief Executive Brian Caldwell, saying he has achieved a lot in his career and is looking forward to working together.
Looking ahead to Dundee, Kettlewell is not surprised that Tony Docherty has got his team playing well but knows games against the Dee this season have been closely fought and is expecting, once again, that to be the case on Saturday.

Motherwell’s Fortunes
Motherwell still have a very slim chance of making top six, but will require maximum points and some favour elsewhere.
Theo Bair’s equaliser earned the Steelmen a point last time out against St Mirren, which leaves them six points off of Dundee.
That result means it’s two wins, a draw and a defeat in the last four matches for Stuart Kettlewell’s men, leaving them on 33 points for the season.
Matches against Dundee have been tight this season, on the opening day, Motherwell drew at Dens Park after Bair’s opener. It was the late, late show for the Steelmen in the reverse fixture. Finding themselves 3-2 down and with ten men. But Conor Wilkinson’s late strike earned a late point for the ‘Well.
Opposition Report
In their first season back in the top flight, Dundee are firmly in the hunt for top-six. They won their last two matches against St Johnstone and Aberdeen, making it two wins, a draw and two defeats in their last five.
They’re on 39 points, with three games to play before the split.
Lyall Cameron has been a consistent performer for Tony Docherty’s side this season. In his most recent match, he scored his fifth goal of the season.

Leaving it difficult for top-six // Motherwell 1-1 St Mirren
Monday 01 April 2024Motherwell had an outside hope for top-six, but they knew they would most likely need to beat St Mirren and the two games that followed.
The Paisley side have proved to be a tough nut to crack for the Steelmen this season, with the ‘Well not registered a goal against them.
A positive start to the game seen Theo Bair and Georgie Gent have glimpses of an opener, but it would the visitors who got in front first thanks to Marcus Fraser header.
It looked like a similar predicament Motherwell found themselves in, but despite going behind, they rallied. Bair eventually levelled the game, bundling the ball over the line to make it 12 goals for the season.
The result leaves Motherwell six points off the top-six, with only two games left before the split.
