Former St Johnstone Club Captain Liam Gordon joined the club just before their 2024 pre-season trip to The Netherlands. A mainstay for the Perth side over the last five seasons, 28-year-old centre back Gordon lifted both the League Cup and Scottish Cup during his stay at McDiarmid Park. 

A leader full of experience and passion, Gordon’s commanding stature fits Stuart Kettlewell’s philosophy of no nonsense defending and demands. With over 200 games played for St Johnstone, he will slot in nicely to the Motherwell backline for the 2024/25 season.
