We had six players away on international duty this month. Here’s how they got on.
Mason Clark
Mason Clark represented the Scotland U19-squad in a triple-header of Euro Qualification matches, with the youngster totalling 89-minutes in a comfortable 4-0 victory against the Czech Republic at Broadwood last Wednesday, before adding another 65-minutes against Spain at the weekend. Clark started the final Group A5 match against Switzerland on Tuesday.
Lucy Barclay
Defender Lucy Barclay was a double second-half substitute over both games against the Czech Republic and Spain. Barclay played a total of 38-minutes across both games, and supported the Scots 4-0 victory in Cumbernauld. Barclay then received her first start against Switzerland on Tuesday evening.
Brodie Greenwood
Hearts loanee Brodie Greenwood played a vast majority of the U19s fixtures, receiving 65-minutes against Czech Republic before competing an additional 79-minutes against Spain the following weekend. Greenwood started alongside her teammates in the defeat to Switzerland.
Eilidh Austin
Striker Eilidh Austin featured in both Scotland U23 fixtures, starting against Portugal in a 5-4 victory on penalties following a 0-0 draw after coming on as a second-half substitute in their opening friendly match with Denmark.
Louisa Boyes
Midfielder Louisa Boyes made her first appearance in a Scotland jersey, earning her first cap in the National Team’s victory over Portugal after being named in the starting XI at the Pinatar Arena on Sunday.
Jenna Penman
Defender Jenna Penman started alongside her Motherwell teammates in Sunday’s victory over the Portuguese, with the 22-year-old earning her second cap in the U23s squad.
