It was a week of more minutes and more development for our loan boys.
Max Johnston
It was another start for Max Johnston at Cove Rangers. The full back continued his development on loan with the Championship side as they took on Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the Balmoral Stadium.
Although Cove were narrowly defeated 1-0, Johnston played another full 90 minutes in the match.
David Devine
David Devine was once again at the heart of the Alloa defence on Saturday, as the Wasps took on Airdrie.
The defender kept a clean sheet as they bounced back from last weekends defeat, with a comfortable 2-0 win. Devine played the full match.
Robbie Mahon
Dunfermline moved top of the league one table with a 1-0 win over FC Edinburgh.
Robbie Mahon was an unused sub.
Daniel Hunter
Daniel Hunter kept his place in the Cumbernauld Colts midfield when they took on Spartans on Saturday.
The midfielder played 85 minutes, with Colts falling to a 3-0 defeat.
Scott Fox
Queen of the South were in action midweek as they took on Kelty Hearts.
Fox was between the posts however narrowly lost 1-0 on the road to Kelty. The goalkeeper wasn’t involved in their match on Saturday.
Ewan Wilson
It was two full games in the space of three days for Ewan Wilson at Albion Rovers.
Albion were defeated 1-0 on Wednesday night up north against Elgin, with Wilson solidifying his space at left full back.
Rovers would improve come the weekend, when they ended Dumbarton’s winning run to start the season, with a 1-1 draw.
Logan Dunachie
It was South Challenge cup action for East Kilbride, when they took on Lanark United.
Kilby would comfortably advance to the next round with a 5-1 win, Dunachie played the last ten minutes of the match coming off the bench.
