Graham Alexander named manager of the month

Graham Alexander is the Glen’s Vodka Premiership Manager of the Month for November.

The Motherwell boss picks up the award for the second time this campaign, and the third time in his 11-month tenure at Fir Park, after three wins from four.

Victories over Aberdeen, Dundee United and Hearts, backed up by three clean sheets, added another valuable nine points to our tally and kept the team near the top end of the Premiership table.

“I’m delighted once again to be accepting this award on behalf of everyone who has worked so hard to contribute to our results,” said the Motherwell boss.

“It is the efforts of everyone that helped us win the three matches and win this award for the second time this season.”

Alexander was also the recipient of the September award, having also been recognised in April.

He now pulls level with Terry Butcher and Stuart McCall in winning the prize three times, with only Mark McGhee ahead on four.
