Stephen O’Donnell has extended his stay at Motherwell until the end of the season.
The Scotland international defender has made 25 appearances in claret and amber since joining in the summer.
The club are also engaged in positive talks with O’Donnell about the possibility of extending his deal beyond the current campaign.
“We’re delighted Stephen is staying with us,” said Motherwell boss Graham Alexander.
“When I took the job, the first target was to hold on to our best players. We’ve achieved that in this window with all of the squad.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Stephen for the remainder of the campaign and hopefully beyond.”
