Ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Cup semi-final clash with Rangers, there is some important travel information for ‘Well fans heading to Hampden Park.

MAJOR ROADWORKS – AIKENHEAD ROAD.
- There will be major roadworks taking place on Aikenhead Road between the entrance to the purple car park and Curling Crescent.
- These road works will see the road reduced to one lane controlled by temporary traffic lights. Congestion and delays expected.
- We ask that supporters plan ahead, utilise public transport where possible and arrive in plenty of time.
WHEN YOU GET TO HAMPDEN
- Please note that enhanced search arrangements will be in place at this fixture. This additional safety measure has the potential to delay entry into the ground so fans are strongly encouraged to get to the Stadium as early as possible. Turnstiles will be open 1 ½ hours before kick-off i.e. 1.00pm.
- Motherwell fans in blocks G1 and G2 should enter via turnstiles 70-79 and not the turnstiles indicated on their ticket.
UNACCEPTIBLE BEHAVIOUR
- Supporters are reminded that this is a neutral venue and as such the individual clubs will be held responsible to repair or pay for any damage caused by their own supporters.
- Supporters are also reminded that there is no alcohol allowed on any bus. The driver and the organiser will be charged if alcohol is found on any bus.
- The use of pyro technics are not allowed in any football stadium. Hampden park has sophisticated CCTV which will identify any individual discharging a pyro technic. They will be arrested and subject to a football banning order.
- Supporters are reminded that acts of unacceptable behaviour could ultimately get the club cited to appear before the SPFL and could end up with the club being fined and supporters being banned from football matches.
FLAGS AND BANNERS
- Supporters are reminded that all flags and banner will be checked for any unacceptable mesasages
- Steward will advise on the placement of large flags and banners
- Surfing flags are not allowed
NOTES FOR BUS DRIVERS AND PRIVATE TRANSPORT
M74 Northbound: Exit the M74 at Junction 1A (Polmadie). Turn left onto Polmadie Road, continue to junction with Aikenhead Road, continue south onto Aikenhead Road, stay in the right hand lane and continue through the junction with Prospecthill Road where your coach will be directed to park in the purple car park.
A bus pass for the purple car park will be required for entry.
Buses entering the car park must enter no later than 90 minutes prior to kick off.
Those without a pass will be directed to park on Calder Street after exiting the M74 as directed by police motorcycles.
M74 Southbound: Exit the M74 at Junction 1A (Polmadie). Turn right onto Polmadie Road, turn right onto Calder Street, where your coach will be directed to park.
M80 Southbound: Exit towards M73 Junction 3 (Mollinsburn) and continue south. At Junction 1 join the M74 north and follow the above route.
M8 Eastbound: Continue on the M8 to junction 1 of the M74, (offside lane). Exit the M74 at Junction 1A (Polmadie) and follow the route above.
M8 Westbound: Exit the M8 at junction 20 (nearside lane), merge onto West Street, turn left into Wallace Street, keep left to continue on Dalintober Street, merge onto M74, exit the M74 at junction 1 (Polmadie) and follow the route above.
A8 Westbound: Continue onto the M8 to Junction 8 (Baillieston) and join the M73 southbound. Thereafter take the offside lane to join the M74 and follow the above route.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Designated Parking on EAST SIDE of Stadium only for Motherwell supporters:
Motherwell supporters attending in private vehicles should follow the directions given for Motherwell supporter’s coaches above, and utilise on street parking where available to the East of the stadium.
A car park pass will be required for entry to the Red, Yellow & Purple car parks; those without a pass should utilise on street parking where available.
Any vehicles entering the stadium car parks, must enter no later than 60 minutes prior to kick off.
Parking is controlled on match day and supporters should refer to nearby signage for direction re parking. As a result, there is limited parking available in the vicinity of the stadium; supporters are encouraged to travel via train where possible.
POST MATCH ROUTES FOR MOTHERWELL SUPPORTERS FROM THE EAST OF THE STADIUM
After the event, coaches in Polmadie Road and coaches facing south in Aikenhead Road, should follow the reverse of the routes shown above.
Coaches parked facing north in Aikenhead Road should continue north on Aikenhead Road, turn right into Cathcart Road, then turn right into Caledonia Road to the roundabout junction, turn right onto The Boulevard, continue to the roundabout junction, turn left onto Kilbride Street, continue to the traffic light junction, turn right onto Polmadie Road and join M74 junction 1A.
