The second pre-season friendly of the summer can now be confirmed with English side Leeds Utd visiting Fir Park on 16th July.
Simon Grayson’s men, including former ‘Well ace Ross McCormack, narrowly missed out on the Championship play-offs last season and will provide a stern test for the Steelmen.
The match will kick-off at 3pm with ticketing arrangements to follow.

Goalkeeper Lee Hollis has become the latest player to commit his future to the club by singing a new one-year deal.
The 25-year old former Airdrie stopper played second fiddle to the outstanding Darren Randolph last year but made his top-team debut at Celtic Park on the final day of last season, turning in a super display.
‘Well boss Stuart McCall praised Hollis in the aftermath of that game in May and clearly seen enough to believe the Bellshill-born ‘keeper was a more than able deputy.
Hollis told motherwellfc.co.uk, “It’s good to get things sorted as I really enjoy it here at Motherwell.
“I didn’t play much last season but when the guy between the sticks is performing the way Darren was, you haven’t got much of an argument. He will brilliant and I learned a lot from him and Stewart Kerr last year.
“I will keep working as hard as I can each and every day to make sure that if I am called upon, I am ready for anything.”
On the same day as Lee Hollis agreed an extended stay, U19s keeper Willie Muir, who is still illegible for the youth team next year, has also signed a new one-year contract extension.

During the summer holidays, the club will again be holding our own Summer Soccer School aimed at young people, boys and girls, between the ages of 4 and 16 at the Fir Park AstroTurf behind the Stadium.
As usual, we will be providing a fun programme that will have something for everybody.
For budding young footballers, we will have a wide range of football activities from dribbling, passing and shooting through to penalty competitions, and small sided games. We are passionate about improving the skills of all our players and our experienced Motherwell Soccer School Coaches will help young players take themselves to the next level.
All our coaches are also accredited with the Scottish Football Association.
Time will also be devoted to other activities including board games, table tennis, and Wiis will be available so there will be something for everyone.

Motherwell Football Club are today delighted to confirm that inspirational captain Stephen Craigan has signed a one-year contract extension.
The 34-year old Northern Irishman, capped 54 times by his country, played fifty times last season in Claret and Amber, taking his overall appearances for the club to 351.
He remains a vital part of the Motherwell rearguard which kept a record-breaking 19 clean sheets during the 2010/11 season, his testimonial year, helping the club to a second successive top-six finish.
Speaking exclusively to motherwellfc.co.uk, Craigan said, “I am pleased to have my immediate future sorted out and it’s nice to know you are still wanted.
“This will be my fourteenth pre-season with Motherwell but I have still got bags of enthusiasm and a willingness to do well week in and week out.
“The manager has already added one new face in Michael Higdon; a couple more of that quality and we’ll be looking to have another good season.”
Elsewhere, young goalkeeper Tom Bradley has joined fellow former U19s Jamie Pollock, Steven Howarth and Ross McKinnon in signing a one-year contract extension and will join up with the first-team squad when they return for pre-season training later this month.

U19s trio Jamie Pollock, Steve Howarth and Ross McKinnon have today signed one-year contract extensions at Fir Park.
All three, regulars for Gordon Young’s side last term, are now too old to play with the youth team.
However, their progress has been rewarded with one-year professional contracts and they will join the first-team squad next term.
Pollock, a creative midfield/forward player, is no stranger to the senior squad having already featured several times in the top team. He made his debut against Celtic in December of 2009, under then boss Jim Gannon, but has only featured on a few occasions since.
Centre-forward Howarth, who signed from Clyde last summer, made an immediate impact in Claret and Amber by bagging eight goals; enough to finish top-scorer for the team last season. He is joined by left-back and Captain Ross McKinnon, nephew of former ‘Well favourite Rab, who has been a consistent performer throughout the year.
As reported last week, U19s Liam Sloan, Bradley Halsman and Gavin Griffin have all left the club.

Motherwell Football Club are today delighted to announce the signing of striker Michael Higdon on a two-year contract.
The 27-year old Liverpudlian, on the score sheet fifteen times for St Mirren last season, was out of contract after spending two years at St Mirren Park.
The 6ft 2’ striker started his career with Crewe and made his debut for the Railwaymen aged 20 in December of 2003.
He moved to Falkirk in the summer of 2007 and scored 17 goals in his two seasons at the Falkirk Stadium, including the winning goal at Inverness on the final day of the 2008/09 season to avoid relegation.
Gus McPherson took him to St Mirren in the summer of 2009 and he caught the eye in the last campaign, scoring some excellent goals and even a hat-trick against Lanarkshire neighbours Hamilton Accies.
Speaking exclusively to motherwellfc.co.uk, Higdon said, “I am really pleased to be here and I can’t wait to get going.
“Last season went very well for me; it was just unfortunate it had to end when it did because when you are scoring goals, you just want the games to keep coming. It was hard to leave St Mirren as I really enjoyed my time there; they are a good club and I wish them all the best for the future.
“However, the opportunity to work with Stuart McCall was a big attraction. A lot of people I know in football speak very highly of him and the club certainly seem to be progressing and heading in the right direction.”
‘Well boss Stuart McCall added, “When I was made aware that Michael didn’t want to go back down South, which was first reported, he was our number one striking target.
“If you look at the way the game is played in Scotland, you need a physical presence. And, allied with his goal scoring record, we are hoping he will be a good signing for Motherwell.
“I actually remember him from his days at Crewe as a young lad; I seen him play a few times both as a midfielder and a striker
“He came up to Scotland with Falkirk and did well and likewise at St Mirren, he enjoyed a good spell. His SPL record last year was 14 goals in 29 games – that’s almost one goal in every two games; terrific in anyone’s language let alone for a team who are fighting near the bottom.
“Hopefully with the way we play, with two wide men, we can create opportunities and Michael can take them.
Michael passed a medical and signed his contract this morning but will only be registered a Motherwell player when the Transfer Window re-opens next Thursday, 9th June 2011.
Motherwell FC are today delighted to confirm that promising young star Shaun Hutchinson has signed a two-year contract extension.
Hutchinson, 20, roared back into the first-team in the second half of last season; new boss Stuart McCall managing to get the England U21 hopeful back to the form that made him a standout at the beginning of the 2009/2010 campaign.
His contract was due to expire next summer but after penning a new deal, he is now tied to the club until June 2014.
The young defender said, “As soon as the club made it known they were keen to extend my contract I was delighted to sign.
“I am really enjoying my football and to have the security for another three years is brilliant. The second part of last season was going great; the only disappointment being the season had to end as I was ready for another half.
“I also really enjoy working with Stuart McCall. His training is excellent and he has all the players really bursting a gut for him. It’s a great environment for any player, particularly one who is young and looking to develop their career.”
Chief Executive Leeann Dempster said, “This is a further demonstration of our commitment to producing and nurturing young talent at the club; we’re absolutely delighted Shaun has agreed to extend his deal. Finding and keeping the best talent is critical to the future development of our football club.
“We have an overriding strategy here at Motherwell and this type of deal sits at the very core of it.
“There was interest in Shaun from some big clubs on both sides of the border but we have opted not to cash in on him at this point and under the stewardship of our excellent management team here at Fir Park, we know we can bring his game on even more.
“He has also shown real loyalty to the club and a desire to play and no praise is high enough as far as I am concerned.”
